To detect spam, this site stores the IP address and browser user agent string of visitors who leave comments on the site.
To check if you are utilising the Gravatar service, your email address may be hashed and then used to generate an anonymous string. Privacy information for the Gravatar service can be found at https://automattic.com/privacy/. As soon as your comment is approved, your profile image will appear alongside it.
Refrain from adding photos to your posts if they have EXIF or GPS data in the description, as this information will be visible to website visitors. Site visitors can download and analyse any geotagged photograph hosted on the website.

Our suggested wording reads as follows: If you post a remark on our site, you will have the option to have your name, email address, and website saved in cookies. These are provided, so you don’t have to re-enter your information whenever you want to post a remark. This batch of cookies will keep for a whole year.
When you go to our login page, a short-lived cookie will be placed on your computer so that we can learn if it can receive further cookies from us. When you shut your browser, this cookie and any personal information it contains will be deleted.

How long we retain your data
The remark and any metadata associated with it will be saved permanently if you choose to leave one. This way, any subsequent comments will be instantly approved upon detection, eliminating the need for a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we retain the personal information they submit in their user profile. Any user can access, revise, or delete their profile data (except they cannot change their username). That data is also viewable and editable by the website’s administrators.
